1st Leg of the Trip

Our trip has been going well. We had a great opportunity yesterday morning because of the scriptures on our vehicle. We camped in a Wal-Mart parking lot Tuesday night, and as we were getting ready to get back on the road, a fellow came up to the window and asked us, “Do you pray for people?” Billy was able to talk with him for a good while and make the gospel clear. And that even though the man thought he had done too much evil, Billy was able to share how the Apostle Paul, who was a murderer, killing Christians, was able to be saved and how if he would put his trust in Christ, he could be saved as well. This brought a big smile to the man’s face. Billy gave him a tract and a few websites to look at as well as our phone number in case he had any questions later on.

Last night we were able to visit some friends in Illinois which was a blessing. Today was a little slower with a little bit of a detour due to the GPS taking us to a non existent Aldi… But many more people read the scriptures on the bus than would have otherwise.

When we did finally find the Aldi, Billy did a little work on the fan clutch as it seemed to be sticking.

Back in the road some more now with the hope of getting 250 more miles done today.
